Rebecca Gallagher, the proprietor of Historic Smithton Inn, emailed me last night with a link to a story that took place at her property on Veterans Day. After I watched the piece it made me think of my grandfather even more since the last blog that I wrote was about our donation to AMVETS.
The program is called B&Bs for Vets and is sponsored by the Better way to Stay, “a grassroots campaign to help travelers discover today’s inns and B&B experience.” The campaign is brought to you by PAII (Professional Association of Innkeepers International) an amazing organization that we have been working with since 1986.
