We are deeply honored to have partnered with the Jane Goodall Institute to produce their line of handcrafted mugs. It is very special to us to support the legacy of a woman who forever changed the way we understand our connection to the natural world. With every mug shaped by the artisans at Deneen Pottery, we feel privileged to contribute, in our own small way, to the lasting legacy of Jane Goodall.
Sadly, Jane has passed away, a moment that fills us with both sorrow and deep gratitude. Her passing marks the end of an era, but her life and work remain a beacon of hope and inspiration for all of us.
A Life That Changed the World
During her lifetime, Jane redefined the boundaries between humanity and the rest of the animal kingdom. As the founder of the Jane Goodall Institute in 1977, she paved the way for decades of scientific research, animal welfare, and environmental conservation that continue around the world today.

She also launched Roots & Shoots, her global youth program, which began with just a dozen high school students in Dar es Salaam and has since grown to empower young people in more than 75 countries. Through Roots & Shoots, generations of children and teens have been inspired to take action for animals, communities, and the planet.
Jane also authored more than 27 books for adults and children, appeared in numerous documentaries and films, and helped shape our collective understanding of wildlife, conservation, and what it means to act with compassion.
Her work reminded us that every single one of us makes a difference every day, a message we carry forward with immense pride and purpose.

Mugs With Meaning: Our Collaboration with the Jane Goodall Institute
At Deneen Pottery, we believe that beautiful craftsmanship can also carry powerful meaning. That is why our handmade mugs for the Jane Goodall Institute matter so much to us. Each mug, shaped, and glazed by hand, becomes more than just a vessel for your morning coffee or tea. It becomes a symbol of hope, conservation, and community.

Through the Institute’s official online store, the Good for All Goods shop, these mugs and other items are offered as part of a global effort to support environmental and humanitarian work.
When you purchase a Deneen mug through the Good for All Goods store, you are not just buying a beautiful handmade item. You are contributing directly to the mission of the Jane Goodall Institute. Proceeds help fund wildlife conservation, community centered conservation, and environmental education initiatives around the world.
Join Us: A Mug, a Movement
We invite you to browse the Good for All Goods store, explore the mugs we created in collaboration with the Jane Goodall Institute, and take part in something bigger than a morning coffee ritual. Every purchase helps protect wildlife and support communities, small actions that ripple into real, lasting change.

Thank you for supporting Deneen Pottery and for being part of a legacy that honors Jane Goodall’s life, her values, and her enduring impact on this world.
Together, we carry her spirit forward, one handcrafted mug and one act of kindness at a time.
